Washington, D.C. — Today, House Assistant Minority Leader Joe Neguse led a dozen individual members of the U.S. House of Representatives in suing the Trump-Vance administration, challenging its unlawful obstruction of congressional oversight that the members have sought to conduct at federal immigration detention facilities, in which both Americans and noncitizens have been detained without due process.
Washington, D.C. — House Assistant Minority Leader Joe Neguse (CO-02) released the following statement after being appointed by Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries to chair the Litigation Working Group and Rapid Response Task Force (the “Litigation/Response Task Force”). Leader Jeffries announced the task force in a Dear Colleague to the caucus earlier this morning, also naming as co-chairs Reps. Rosa DeLauro, Gerry Connolly, and Jamie Raskin.
